hey jeffmikey, you hit the nail on the head!!!!! absolutely a waste! and you folks who say we should be ashamed for writing a bad review. ive spent alot of money on jones over the years, but because he is a legend doesnt give him or anyone else the right to keep charging ridiculous prices for a very sub par show. i wish jones the best and more power to him for being able to still pack them in. unfortunately, i feel that more people would agree with me than you. you people must be tone deaf. if you wanna go see some legends who can still sing, go see haggard, ray price, gene watson, the oaks, willie (sometimes) or if youre looking for great country go see dale watson. to everyone, just go to youtube george jones 2009, its very obvious. by the way, why cant all these old guys be smart like cash was. when he realized he couldnt perform anymore, he quit!!!!!! then , he focused ALL his energy toward recording and made some of the best music of his career.

I think George did an amazing job!!! for 78 years old he still has it. His voice was a little shaky at the beginning because he had something in his throat but once he cleared it and warmed up he was unbelievable. Anyone who would give this man a bad review clearly has no respect and has no right to call themselves a fan of this living legend. To "Jeff Mikey" who posted earlier: I read your post and I am disgusted with what you wrote. You did not deserve to be in that seat at that concert. So Im sorry you feel you "wasted" your 65 bucks but there are many respectable fans who would have paid double to be in that place that your ignorant self occupied. Shame on you. ROCK ON GEORGE!!!!

Save your money! stay home. He's out of it, he has no voice, you can barely hear him. I cant believe I paid $65 for that!!

No, it's not fanatical. Many people have seen him many more times than I have. I've been going to see him since the 1970s, so 102 times are not unrealistic.

To each his own, but there are many of us who just do not happen to agree with you.

George Jones, Hank Williams Jr., Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson

Johnny and the late Waylon Jennings would undoubtedly approve as their Highwaymen bandmates Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson are joined by Hank Williams Jr. and George Jones for a set during the Johnny Cash Memorial Tribute held at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. AP Photo
