Tesla At House Of Blues In Orlando, FL On February 22, 2009

This show was on February 22, 2009 with Tesla. It was held at the House Of Blues in Orlando, FL. Chris Ann and I were 6 people deep from the stage. I brought my camera and got about 65 pictures, 51 of which came out great and are on my website to look at http://www.fsukxaz.com/ReviewTesla.html

Tesla played "Love Song", "Modern Day Cowboy", "Getting Better", "Heavens Trail", "Signs", "The Way It Is", "Little Suzi", "Comin' Atcha Live", and "Hang Tough" from there early works. Then on top of that they played 8 new songs off their Forever More album. I got it for Christmas and have been listening to it faithfully so I knew all the songs. The new songs included: "Forever More", "I Wanna Live", "One Day At A Time", "So What", "Fallin' Apart", "Breakin' Free", "The First Time", and "Pvt. LedBetter". So needless to say the set was long. I lost track around 16 songs into the show. Their new music is really kick ass. Too bad radio hasn't figured that out. At the end they brought out classic rocker Pat Travers for the encore. Quite a special experience seeing Tesla and Pat Travers do "Little Suzi". The music was excellent. The SoCo was in full swing as usual, and Margaritas at Chevy's before the show. It was a very beautiful Winter Sunday night. Too bad we had to drive back to Tampa and go to work the next day. Oh well such is life.
